THE SIBERIAN CIRCLE

We are Chris and Terry and we live in East Yorkshire with a collection of cats and a large German Shepherd dog.
My first involvement with cats (after Terry had convinced me of their merits) was as a fosterer for Cats Protection. When I was looking for a ‘Pets as Therapy' cat to take visiting to people who were not fortunate enough to be able to have a cat of their own I met Lorraine Brown, who at that time had some beautiful Ragdoll kittens.
That was a very fortunate meeting, as not only did I get a wonderful cat I also made a very good friend. A couple of years on Lorraine introduced us to Siberians…..and so the story goes on.
Once you have been owned by a Siberian there is no going back, and the one breeding queen we were going to have extended to include one stud boy (Campana Snowbear) who was shared ownership with Lorraine and Jenny but reigned supreme in our house. Of course it wasn't long before we had another girl, thanks again Lorraine! Next we brought another line in from the Andokajas cattery in Germany, another pretty girl.
By this time we had got to know Neil who very kindly let us have a beautiful tortie and white girl to add to our family. For almost five years we have had tabbies and smokes, but earlier this year we got our first Neva Masquerade (colour-point) from Neil – thank you Neil. We now have another Neva girl and are hoping to be able to breed some Nevas of our own soon.
The cats live sometimes outside in the pens Terry has built for them and sometimes inside with us. Kittens are always born and brought up in the house with the dog and visiting grandchildren to help them become happy and well adjusted.
We set great store on the well being of our cats, and their health and happiness is paramount. All our kittens are fully vaccinated, wormed and insured before they leave us.

The Siberian Circle is a small group of four dedicated breeders whose passion for cats has brought them together. They work tirelessly to promote the Siberian and Neva Masquerade breeds. They also work constantly on the introduction of new blood lines into the Siberian and Neva Masquerade gene pool.
